I am so excited for fall. Boots, football, and bonfires are amazing. Not to mention so many other things. This also means new beauty trends sweeping across the runways. Metallics are in, which means an edgy smokey eye or nails will be loved. I've never tried a smokey eye myself so maybe this is finally the time to try it out. I never really have an occasion to do a smokey eye and it is too heavy for everyday makeup. Bold eyebrows are a great trend because mine are already there. On the other hand, the people that completely shave off and re-draw their eyebrows might have an issue, but that's their fault. I adore long, voluminous lashes so the big lashes trend will be easy for me to follow. One coat of mascara has never cut it for me. I've always put mascara on my bottom lash line to somewhat even it out with the top. Don't ever put too much on the bottom though or I guarantee it will not look good. Since glowing cheeks are in, maybe this is the time I should learn to contour my face. I've always wanted to, but I don't have the time or patience for that. When I had my makeup done by someone, she contoured my face and I loved the way it looked. The less is more trend is great for people who don't like to wear a ton of makeup. This makes me think about how in some countries women don't have access to makeup like we do here. This relates to English because the book we are reading is set in Malawi in Africa. People there are very poor and can't get the same products we can. I think it's great when women are confident enough to go out with just concealer and a couple coats of mascara. I, on the other hand, can't do that. I don't cake my makeup on, but I don't wear a tiny amount either. Berry lips sound cute, but I just don't wear lipstick or lip gloss. Personally, lip balm is the way to go. The green trend is not one I particularly like. Green is fine I just don't wear it that often. I feel like some shades of green don't really work on me. The brown smokey eye sounds great for women who don't want a smokey eye that is too harsh. I've actually done something like that before and it looked really good.

This post is keeping me up with the latest fall trends. I haven't tried the smokey eye, but I would love to just not for daily wear. The smokey eye makeup would be intense to wear every day, so I may only wear it on special occasions. The contouring sounds nice for a nice warm glow in the fall. It would really set the tone. I am also not fond of the green trend either. The color just doesn't really fit my skin tone. I love your blog, & can't wait to hear what the next trend is!
ReplyDeleteGIIIRL, I got them thick eyebrows to, but I personally love fall, it's my favorite season. Fall is perfect for breaking out the boots and sweaters. I also like the warm makeup that goes with it. I just love your blog and can't wait for future posts!
ReplyDeleteI love this post! Fall is my favorite season for many reasons. Especially the clothes and makeup. All of the fall trends are phenomenal and very warm. Sweaters, boots, leggings, cardigans, and so much more are the staples in fall fashion. They are the best and most comfortable things to wear. Personally, I have not tried the smokey eye, or any fall makeup for that matter. I am looking forward to your next blog post, and to trying something new!
ReplyDeleteThank you for making this blog post, I love it! Fall trends are really easy to follow, such as the brown sweaters and the warm colored eye shadow. I personally love fall, it is my favorite season. However, I have never tried to wear the smokey eye, I have only experimented . I enjoy the fall colors, like burnt oranges, browns and tans. Have you heard of the 3D-lash mascara? I have never used but, rumor has it your eyelashes will look false. I have had many problems with which mascara to use and how many coats to put on, but it will get better through the years. I am excited to read your next post to try recent fall trends!
